Are you passionate about teaching English? Do you want to work in a forward thinking and innovative school which values its staff highly and wants to do the very best for its learners?

A mainstream Secondary School are currently recruiting for a Teacher of English to join their successful and expanding academy starting September 2020. The school are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching engaging lessons that will help students appreciate the importance of the subject and develop the skills they need for life. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to develop, plan and deliver high quality and engaging learning experiences to all students 
  • Be a newly qualified or experienced teacher who is enthusiastic and shares the values of the school 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • English Teacher
  • Starting September 2020
  • Teaching KS3 and 4 English as a subject specialist
  • Development and improvement of English resources within the department
  • Willingness to participate in the school’s extra-curricular programme

The Essentials:

  • Must be available for full or part time work from September 2020
  • Must have QTS in the UK – both experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply
  • Must have suitable school-based references
  • Must be willing and able to apply for a fully enhanced DBS certificate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
