Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced English teacher on behalf of our client's secondary school in Macclesfield. The English Teacher role will involve teaching students within an alternative provision, teaching small groups of students of up to 10, with low academic abilities that require additional support.

The ideal candidate we are looking for will have previous experience teaching English to secondary school students and supporting students with special educational needs. The role will involve planning, marking and delivering lessons and supporting other teachers within the alternative provision.

With the new academic year underway, the SENCO within our client's secondary school is looking to appoint an English Teacher to add additional support within their alternative provision. They are looking for an experience English Teacher who will get the most out of their students, helping them get back to the level they need to be at.

• The ideal English Teacher will;
• Have experience teaching English to secondary school students
• Have experience supporting students within an alternative provision
• Be available to work a full time English teaching role
• Have a child workforce DBS on the update service
• Have a confidence classroom presence

The secondary school seeking an English Teacher to work within their alternative provisions is situated in an affluent area and is an Ofsted rated Good school. Located in Macclesfield just off the A523, with a direct train link from Manchester Piccadilly, makes the school easily accessible to all teachers.
