Our client school located on the outskirts of Bolton boarding Bury have an opportunity within their English department for a proven English teacher to join their team in the New Year (January2017). This school is an average sized 11-16 mixed comprehensive secondary school with around 900 pupils on roll. The school is easily accessible via the M60 or M61 making the surrounding areas; Oldham, Wigan and Manchester commutable.

The head of department is looking to appoint an English teacher who:

*Holds UK QTS and a PGCE specialising in English

*Is able to evidence a proven record of delivering ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ teaching practice

*Can consistently deliver engaging lessons to pupils of all abilities across KS3 and 4

The successful applicant will be joining a well resourced and managed department in a school which has consistently achieved ‘Good’ rating in previous Ofsted reports. The department is made up of 5 other members of staff and 2 full time subject specific support staff.
