Tameside based Secondary school are looking for teachers in English and Maths to support their Year 7 students who are not yet at their expected levels in reading and numeracy.

You will be working with students on a small group basis providing tailored intervention to help raise student attainment levels in line with the new Progress 8 floor levels. Graded Good by Ofsted in their latest report in 2015 this state of the art modern build will provide an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner looking to teach strictly intervention. With a large percentage of students eligible for free school meals the school are looking for teachers who can engage learners of mixed ability levels through excellent teaching practices and differentiation to meet individual learning styles.

You will be expected to have QTS status and previous experience of teaching intervention.
