Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working on the behalf of a larger than average secondary school in Rotherham who are seeking to appoint a English teacher from Easter 2018. The vacancy shall initially be on a supply basis covering a year long maternity cover until Easter 2019. The role shall be teaching English right up to KS5.

The incoming English teacher will be expected to take on full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking, whilst monitoring progress and behaviour. The department have successfully increased attainment, whereby 67% of pupils achieved A*-C at GCSE last academic year.

Both experienced and Newly Qualified English teachers are welcome to apply for this position as the head of department wishes to meet interested teachers at the earliest convenience.
