Are you a dynamic, qualified English teacher wishing to play a key role within a highly successful English faculty? This fully inclusive secondary school provides its pupils with a wealth of opportunities for all stages of learning and abilities to achieve their full potential.   • Full-time English teacher required from September 2019 or earlier.
  • Must hold QTS - applications are welcomed from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
  • Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' secondary school.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406.

This exciting English teacher opportunity will allow the incoming practitioner to play a significant role within a progressive English department in a vibrant, welcoming and successful Secondary school. The school are seeking a passionate English teacher; committed to the delivery of outstanding learning, securing the best outcomes for all pupils, committed to joining a dynamic staff team and taking on full responsibilities for the teaching and learning of English.

  • Deliver dynamic English lessons set to motivate pupils to challenge themselves.
  • Be ambitious in the determination to ensure all pupils achieve and exceed their full potential.
  • Inspire pupils through engaging and innovative learning which develops and assists in overcoming the barriers to learning.
  • Evaluate and assess class work and take relevant action to promote pupils progression.

Located in the heart of Bury town centre this growing secondary school has just over 1000 pupils enrolled aged 11-16, and can easily be accessed via the M66 and the surrounding areas; Bolton, Rochdale and Prestwich. There are also various public transport options.
