Due to a departmental restructure; our client secondary school in Salford have a fixed term requirement for an English teacher to join their faculty from September 2019. The successful English teacher will hold full responsibility for planning and marking, and teach a full timetable across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four.

- Full-time English teacher required, September 2019 start.
- Fixed term position, initially offered for 12 months.
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (ÂŁ23,720 - ÂŁ39,406 per annum) *Experience dependent.
- Full departmental responsibilities for planning and marking.
- Great location, accessible via the A580 (East Lancashire Road).
The secondary Academy and Sixth Form is significantly larger than average with 1,200 pupils on roll. The results in the English department have been consistently high and the incoming English teacher will be expected to continually raise attainment. With recent refurbishments, the department is well facilitated and each classroom is equipped with new technological equipment. The incoming English teacher will be expected to implement provisions to ensure all learners have the ability to excel across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, and will be fully supported by the Head of Department. In the most recent Ofsted inspections, the school has been praised for their progression and outcomes for all students.
Our client secondary school is located near to the north of Salford and can be accessed from Bolton, Wigan and Bury via the M602 motorway and the A580 (East Lancashire Road). Public transportation links from Manchester city centre also provide a direct route to the school.
