Our partner secondary school situated in the Poole area is looking to recruit an English teacher to start with them asap. The successful English teacher is required to cover a maternity leave.

As an English teacher, teaching at this excellent secondary school you will be require to teach up to GCSE level in both English Language and English Literature. Any experience of supporting low ability students or stretching higher attainers is highly desirable and should be highlighted on any relevant application.

Key aspects of the English teaching position:

  • Pay will be dependent upon the payscale of the successfully appointed English teacher with no discrimination over experience levels
  • Applications therefore encouraged from NQTs to more experienced English teachers
  • Part time teaching position starting asap (3 days a week)
  • Maternity cover for the duration of the 2019/2020 academic year
  • Teach English Language and English Literature up to GCSE level
