English Teacher

Secondary school in Stockport is looking for an English teacher to join their English department as soon as possible during the second half term in February. The school have an opening within their successful English department as a result of a sudden long term illness within their department. They are looking for an inspirational teacher of English who is passionate about the subject with great subject knowledge. The post will involve teaching English across the syllabus to KS3 and KS4. Applications are encouraged from both NQTs and fully qualified teachers.

The school are looking for an English teacher that is aspirational and seeking out a career. This teaching position is a full time position initially on supply with the view to a longer term, more permanent appointment. The English department is growing and therefore requires a teacher who is able to hit the ground running and make the most of this excellent opportunity.

Whilst this role is to cover a member of permanent staff, the department is looking to expand and has the capacity and teaching timetable for another member of their team.

The school is a large mixed comprehensive school located in the SK8 area of Stockport, very easily accessible via the M60 motorway. The school has excellent facilities and is set within pleasant surroundings.
