A secondary school situated in the south of Warrington is looking for an English teacher to join their English department from September 2019. The school requires an English teacher as a result of an open vacancy within their supportive department. The school are ideally looking for a confident and passionate teacher of English who considers themselves to be a subject specialist and is able to teach both English Language and Literature to KS3 and GCSE level. The school are encouraging from teachers of all experience levels including NQTs and fully qualified teachers. The school follows the AQA/EDUQAS syllabus so any experience of this will be highly beneficial.

The school are looking for a teacher of English that is aspirational and seeking a career on a longer term basis. This teaching position is a full time position initially on supply basis with the view to a longer term, more permanent appointment. There is therefore the opportunity to progress onto a school based contract following a successful shorter period of time being payrolled through Teaching Personnel. The English department is flourishing at this school with a very low turnover of staff and are therefore looking for a teacher who is able to hit the ground running and make the most of this excellent opportunity immersing themselves in the team and school life.

This role would suit an English teacher who is available from the start of the new academic year and is looking for a long term teaching position at a supportive secondary school. The school is a relatively large mixed comprehensive school located to the south of the centre of Warrington. The M6 is very close to the school as well as the M56 motorway networks, making it very easily accessible from the Warrington, Lymm, Trafford and Northwich areas. The school boasts excellent facilities and is set within pleasant surroundings.
