The School
English Teacher - Hackney
A lovely school in the Hackney area where the students believe that it is cool to be smart are seeking an English Teacher to improve their already impressive results across the subject. The school are looking for a Fully Qualified English Teacher to start in January 2020 or earlier. The latest Ofsted report rewarded the school a “GOOD” level, whilst the school also boasts GCSE and A-level results in the top 10% nationally, with over 25% of students going to Russell Group Universities. The School also has a superb, purpose built building with outstanding facilities as well as a unique system where students are rewarded for good behaviour, encouraging an excellent learning environment.
The School is easily accessible by the overground and by bus. There is also a car park onsite.
The Role
English Teacher - Hackney
The school is looking to hire a fully qualified English Teacher; a subject the school considers a specialism, delivering stimulating and exciting lessons to students of ages 11-19. You will be committed to matching the school’s ethos; to educate all students to a high standard where they can go to an incredible university or specialise in a chosen field.
Requirements
English Teacher - Hackney
- A UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE)
- Fully qualified to degree level in English.
- Experience teaching students from KS3 and KS4.
- A passion for education, encouraging the school’s values; hard work, integrity and kindness.
- A great attitude and determination to improve on the school’s already impressive results.
