From September 2018, our partner comprehensive school located on the fringes of West Berkshire, a few miles outside of Reading town centre, is recruiting for a full time and permanent teacher of English. The school is fortunate in the last couple of years to have had several of their departments, including the English department refurbished and kitted out with the latest technology to allow for a fully creative and immersive setting. The school is Ofsted graded 'good', but takes most pride in the fact that staff are well supported and guided throughout their careers.
As the ideal new addition to their English department you will have;
- Taught the English curriculum KS3-4 as an essential and KS5 experience is desired
- Be striving for excellence and high academic attainment results in your English lessons
- Confident incorporating technology into your lesson planning and delivery
- Be available full-time from September
- Be able to hit the ground running with a new Y7 intake
- Fully involve yourself into the wider community of the school
