English Teacher Bolton

Full time English teacher required from January 2019 for a Bolton based Secondary school.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a faith Secondary school based on the outskirts of Bolton, bordering with neighbouring Bury, to appoint a dynamic English teacher to join their staff team. Due to a restructure within the Middle Leaders in the English department, an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic practitioner. For further information please see the details below;

• Full time English teacher, January 2019. Bolton based Secondary school.
• Must hold QTS - alongside a relevant degree level qualification.
• Both experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply.

• Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23,720 - £39,406.

The incoming English teacher can expect to join a welcoming staff team of nine English specialists working under the dedicated guidance of the Director of Curriculum and Senior Leadership Team. This Ofsted rated 'Good' mixed Secondary school with just over 850 pupils on roll, aged 11-16, has been noted for its consistent quality of dynamic teaching and learning.

The successful English teacher will be required to;

• Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic English lessons across Key Stage 3-4(GCSE's) in line with National Curriculum.
• Maintain positive behaviour in the classroom using behaviour management strategies to ensure pupils are engaged, in accordance to behaviour policies in place at school.
• Monitor, assess and evaluate pupil achievement taking appropriate action.

Located a few miles from Royal Bolton Hospital, this diverse Secondary school, is ideally situated to be accessed via the M61 as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Preston and Wigan. There are also excellent public transport links readily available.
