English Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel have a fantastic opportunity for an English graduate to join our client school as part of their support staff. This position is available immediately and would suit an individual that is considering starting a career in education in the future.

- Earn up to £325 per week, paid weekly in arrears
Our client school based in Oldham is keen to recruit an English graduate to join their highly successful English department as a Teaching Assistant. This is an opportunity to work with experienced staff throughout the school to develop your practice, with a view to potentially starting a career in education in the future. The school is based in the Uppermill area of Oldham, and has been consistently graded 'Good' by Ofsted.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will feature in a highly rewarding and inspiring position. Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons is just a small part of the role. Your day may involve supporting students on both a 1:1 and group basis, helping young people who have a range if issues including emotional and behavioural, to reach their potential. The ideal candidate will be proactive in their approach, and be a highly inspirational and engaging character. Patience, approachability and the ability to build and maintain a good rapport with students are all highly desirable attributes of the ideal candidate.
