At Teaching Personnel we are currently recruiting for English graduates for a number of client secondary schools and academies in the Chesterfield area. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a secondary environment and puts you in a great position for a career in teaching or if you are soon to embark on a PGCE or similar teaching qualification course
- Earn up to £300 a week working as an English teaching assistant
- Immediate start
- Part time and full time hours available
- Work on a flexible basis while you study
- Gain valuable experience as an English teaching assistant
Working alongside current English teachers in well established schools you will gain very valuable experience of working in a secondary school environment. Working alongside current tear 11 and 10 students helping them prepare for their GCSE exams or helping year 11's settle in to secondary school, every day will be a different challenge as you move closer to your goal of becoming an English teacher in the future.
Highlights of working as an English teaching assistant:
- Help assist in the correct planning and running of the lesson
- Learn from experienced English teachers as you earn a weekly wage
- Supporting pupils with any difficulties they may have - behaviour or learning related
