Early years Teaching Assistant required for a role beginning w/c 14/05 within a 'GOOD' school in Stockport on a full time basis. The position will be up until the Christmas term but may be extended depending upon funding.
This two form primary school has been rated as a 'GOOD' school by OFSTED and praised for its multiculturalism as well as its welcoming & friendly environment. The successful candidate will work with the strong leadership team & head teacher to continue to create a happy environment. The head teacher is looking for the right Early Years Teaching Assistant to promote pupil's spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
The ideal candidate will not only fit in well with the Early Years pupils but also the leadership team. To be considered for this post you must have previous experience of working within an EYFS environment. Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum & phonics would also be beneficial.
To be considered for the position you must
- Have experience working with children in the Early years or KS1
- Have a proactive approach to assisting the teacher.
- Phonics experience

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
