Early Years Educator/Nursery Nurse (Cardiff)

Teaching Personnel are actively looking to recruit an energetic, dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator for one of our lovely Primary schools in Cardiff, in a safe, fun and friendly environment.
The position is to start in the new academic year (September 2018) within the Nursery department of a two form entry Primary school in the centre of Cardiff. It is a full time role working regular school hours, 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and term time only, with great growth and development opportunities. Our client school has confirmed that they are happy to offer a competitive salary, between £9 and £11 per hour based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
The ideal candidate for this role must have a minimum of a CACHE Level 3 and/or Bachelors in Early Childhood Studies, and have proven experience working with children. Additional certificates would be strongly beneficial to your application.
You may have experience of the following: Childcare Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner, Play worker, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Teacher, Nursery Nurse.
Applicants must :
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - full assistance provided)
- Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (compulsory requirement in Wales) - please note that if you are living in England, you can still register with the EWC which will give you the opportunity to work on both sides of the border
- Provide two professional or character references
- Be available to interview and/or trial asap
- Be available to start on short notice
- Be living in Cardiff and/or have plans to move to Cardiff in the near future and/or be willing to travel to Cardiff
