Job description

Highly experienced and enthusiastic Reception Teacher required for position in a primary school in Hartlepool

  • 1 term contract with potential to be extended

We require an experienced Reception teacher with strong pastoral care and nurture skills to teach full time at an Ofsted rated 'Good' primary school in Hartlepool. The ideal candidate will have an affluent background in teaching pupils with EAL due to the high percentage of this within the school. The candidate will have effective classroom management skills and an understanding approach to the differing needs of pupils. Experience teaching pupils with ASC will also be looked on favourably. The faculty team are highly supportive and welcoming of new staff and will gladly provide any guidance necessary. The position will begin in September and will be reviewed at Christmas with potential to be extended.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff will be required to undergo an Enhanced CRB check.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
