A School in Devizes are currently looking to appoint a qualified teacher of DT to join its team of specialists.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a creative and dynamic DT teacher who will be able to contribute to the development of the Curriculum at KS3/4 and 5.
Strong subject knowledge and being able to teach up to and including GCSE is essential, and you must hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree or have proven experience delivering the subject. The appointed candidate will have access to excellent facilities for teaching and learning.
About the school:
Located in Devizes, this community special school caters for pupils aged between 10 and 16 who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or a Statement of Special Educational Need (SSEN). In most cases the primary identified need is Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and behavioural difficulties, although the majority of pupils have additional special educational needs such as Autism, Attention Deficit Difficulties AD(H)D, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), conduct disorders and attachment difficulties.
