Teacher of Design Technology (Northamptonshire)

Teaching Personnel are currently assisting a West Northamptonshire based secondary school in their search for a teacher of Design Technology. On their most recent inspection, Ofsted described the school community as "cohesive and harmonious"; a reflection of their aim to provide a personalised yet inclusive approach to learning while placing students at the centre of all they do. An exciting curriculum is combined with a vibrant learning environment which inspires pupils to achieve their aspirations. The school are passionate about celebrating achievement, encouraging creativity and respecting individuality among their students. Students are motivated and perform to the best of their ability due to exceptional teaching and supportive staff. The successful candidate will be required to teach Design Technology up to Key Stage 4 and the ability to teach at least one aspect of DT to Key stage 5 would be advantageous. An Easter start would be suitable however the start date can be negotiated.

The successful candidate will:

• Be an experienced and engaging teacher of Design Technology
• Be passionate about DT and create a sense of excitement among students towards the subject
• Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be capable of monitoring results to ensure student progress is made
• Create dynamic lessons that cater to all learning styles and abilities
• Work collaboratively with the department to ensure standards remain high
