Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Ofsted rated ‘Good’ comprehensive school in the Hampstead area to source a GCSE DT teacher, this requirement for a Design Technology teacher for their school to commence a role available on a pay scale of M1 – UPS3 from January 2021 on a permanent basis. Due to the flexibility of the school and experience of the department, the school are open the any specialisms with Design technology for this position.

This Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Secondary school is seeking someone to commence a position on an initial 1 year permanent contract from January 2021. Whilst this position is advertised for experienced DT teachers, the school would be keen to meet NQT’s.

The school has good resources and an ambitious SLT, meaning staff at the school praise it as a fantastic place to work and build a career at. The Hampstead based school also benefits from good transport links, being a short walk from Overground stations, with good train links from Outer London, Central London and East London. There are also parking facilities available however these are limited.

To be considered for this Design technology teaching opportunity you must have the following:

  • 1st or 2:1 related degree
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Newly Qualified Teacher or Design technology teachers with more experience
  • Strong classroom management and lesson planning

The school is based in Hampstead, North London with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.
