Theatre and Design Technology Technician

Design Technology and Theatre Technician role starting in September at a successful secondary school located in central Northampton. This is a full time, permanent role and would be ideal for those with a background in Design Technology. However, this could also be the first step for anyone with the required skills who is interested in a career in education with progression opportunities available.

The Technician role will involve providing technical support and taking responsibility for the school Theatre to ensure it and its surrounding areas are safe, secure and professionally presented at all times. The successful applicant will also support the Theatre as well as the audio-visual and technical performance requirements of the School to best enable the learning environment as it relates to Performing Arts. They will maintain high quality technician services primarily to Design and Technology. The selected candidate will also work alongside and support students and teachers in these curriculum areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
