Design and Technology Technician - Middlesbrough

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Design and Technology Technician to work within a medium sized secondary school in the Middlesbrough area. This role will involve setting up practical experiments, clearing down at the end of lessons as well as planning resources for teachers where required. Working within this department will involve supporting in resistant materials, food technology and Art and design lessons.

Highlights of this Design Technology Technician position:

  • Full time Design Technology Technician required: starting Monday 6th January 2020 (possibly sooner)
  • Support within a highly supportive faculty
  • Ideal role for a Design graduate, interested in becoming a teacher of the future or a previous technician with experience

The school are ideally looking to recruit a graduate or previous technician who can hit the ground running undertaking this technician, support role. The hours of this position are 8:15am – 14:30pm with the school hours being 8:35am – 3:05pm daily.

This school in particular is situated in the Middlesbrough area, which is very easy to get to. If you are a previous technician or graduate of a similar subject specialism, then this is a great opportunity to gain further experience teaching at a highly supportive secondary school.
