Cover Supervisor - Wigan

We are currently looking to recruit a Cover Supervisors on behalf of one of our client Secondary schools in Leigh. The school are offering employment for a term in the first instance however with the nature of Cover Supervising work there may be an opportunity to be employed beyond this initial period.
As a Cover Supervisor working for Teaching Personnel you can expect your monthly earnings to be from £1000 - £1200 a month.
- Full-time Cover Supervisor role starting in September 2018
- 1 term initially with a view for further employment
- Working with children aged 11-16 - covering all subject areas with pre-set work
- Support provided from teaching staff and Heads of Department
Cover Supervising is perfect for graduates and individuals that are consider a teaching career in the future.
It is also ideal for individuals who are experienced in working with children aged 11-16 and are looking for flexible work within Secondary schools from September.
As a Cover Supervisor working within our client Secondary school you will be covering lessons where a teacher is absent, delivering pre set lesson plans and reporting back to the class teacher on their return. You must have good behaviour management skills and be confident when taking responsibility of a class with students that you may not have taught before.
It is important that you are able to teach the pre-set lessons in a confident manner and that you can manage the classroom and students behaviour well.
Our client Secondary school has always been renowned for being smaller than the average secondary school, however due to recent expansion the school has recently grew in size and is now average in size in comparison with the national average. The school, based in Leigh is just a short drive from the East Lancashire Road and can be easily accessed via public transport from surrounding areas.
