Cover Supervisor wanted in Hillingdon
Location: West Drayton
Role: Cover Supervisor
Duration: October 2022 start until the end of the academic year with the prospect of going permanent
Pay: £150 -£180 a day depending on experience (paid on a weekly basis)
The Role
You will be working with a school based in West Drayton. You will be expected to cover classes on day-to-day basis. You will be expected provide a fun and exciting learning environment for the children which they also feel safe and comfortable to be involved. You will need to follow the national curriculum and delegate teaching assistants with tasks needed for the school. Cover supervisor will need to be prepared to working with children with variety different specific needs.
This candidate will need to be available Monday -Friday from October 2022.
Expectations of the candidate
- To be able to take initiative and responsibility
- Knows the curriculum
- Observe and record information on pupil performance
- Supporting individuals in groups to help them learn
- planning & delivering lessons as well as marking and assessing pupils
- Monitoring, recording, and reporting attainment, development, and progress
- managing behaviour in the classroom
- Hold a QTS or equivalent
- genuine interest in education and child development
- a committed and professional attitude

Essential requirements/training/qualifications
The Qualifications:
- Matching A Levels and GCSE grades
- Enhanced DBS – Child work force only
- Relevant experience working with children
- SEN experience – preferred
- QTS/ or qualifications equivalent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
