Teaching Personnel are looking to register and recruit graduates to work within our partnered secondary schools as a Cover Supervisor. We work with in excess of 10 secondary schools in the Tameside area on a daily basis who come to us for a variety of their supply requirements. Whilst schools are currently closed as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, they are due to open during the summer term or in September and this requirement will be even more prevalent as students are out of routine.

As the cover supervisor responsible for the students you will ensure students remain on task, complete the set work and are behaving through effective behaviour management strategies in line with the school’s policies.
There are part time, temporary and full time opportunities as a number of schools have asked for a full time cover supervisor to work with them so if you are interested in a part time or full time role then get in touch now for flexible opportunities.
The role of a cover supervisor will suit recent graduates who have some experience of engaging with young adults aged 11 – 16. This could be in a school setting, in a youth club or as a sports coach for example. Confidence is paramount as well as having a professional manner when applying yourself within a secondary school environment.
