Cover Supervisor – Oldbury (B68)

Pay: £100–£130 per day (experience dependent)
Hours: Fully flexible
Start: ASAP / January


 

Are you looking for a role that offers flexibility and the chance to inspire young people? Schools in the Oldbury area are seeking dependable and confident Cover Supervisors to support with daily and short-term classroom cover. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with students and feels comfortable leading a classroom using pre-planned materials.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Cover Supervisor is helpful, but not essential

  • Background working with young people, education, or childcare

  • Confident communicator with strong behaviour management

  • Able to follow set lesson plans and keep learners engaged

  • A genuine interest in supporting secondary-aged students

  • Driving would be beneficial for accessing different school sites

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-set lesson plans

  • Keeping the classroom focused, calm, and on task

  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies

  • Ensuring all work is completed and instructions are followed

  • Reporting any concerns or issues to senior staff

  • Maintaining a positive and professional presence in the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
