Cover Supervisor

Location: Wolverhampton, Secondary Schools

Start Date: Immediate

Working Pattern: Flexible, day-to-day or longer placements


Are you passionate about supporting young people and gaining hands-on experience in secondary schools?

Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join schools across the Wolverhampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to develop their skills, build confidence in classroom management, and make a real difference to students’ learning.

What you'll be doing: 

Supervise and engage classes, keeping students focused and on task

Support teachers by delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and classroom activities

Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported

Monitor behaviour, ensuring students adhere to school expectations

Assist with basic administrative tasks, including registering attendance and managing resources

Build rapport with students and staff, contributing positively to the school community

 

What were looking for: 

Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or similar environment

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Confidence in managing and motivating students of secondary school age

Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work

DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

Passion for education and a desire to gain further experience in secondary schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
