Full-Time Cover Supervisor – Secondary School (Coventry, CV2)
Start Date: January 2026

Pay Rate: £100–£130 per day (dependent on experience)
Are you looking to develop your career in education? A thriving and inclusive secondary school based in Coventry (CV2) is seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to join their team from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and is confident managing a classroom environment.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task

Deliver pre-prepared work to classes across a range of subjects
-
Manage student behaviour effectively and positively
-
Support the school’s ethos and contribute to a safe, engaging learning environment
Ideal Person Specification
We are looking for someone who is:
-
Confident, positive, and proactive
-
Able to demonstrate strong behaviour management techniques
-
Comfortable engaging with students aged 11–16
-
Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic about working in education
Experience
-
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is desired but not essential
-
Any background in an education-based role (e.g., teaching assistant, youth work, tutoring) is beneficial
-
Full training and ongoing support will be provided
