Cover Supervisor

Start Date: Immediate opportunities available

Location: Walsall 

Working Pattern:Flexible, day-to-day or longer placements


 

We are looking for confident, enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support our partner secondary schools across the Wolverhampton and Walsall areas. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about gaining further hands-on experience within education.

What you will be doing:

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a focused learning environment.

Support students with their tasks, promoting engagement and positive learning attitudes.

Follow school policies and routines to ensure consistency for students.

Build strong professional relationships with staff and pupils.

Provide general classroom support as required throughout the school day.

Be adaptable and confident covering a variety of subject areas.

 

What were looking for: 

Experience working with young people aged 11–16 in a school, sports, youth work or similar setting.

Strong behaviour management skills and confidence leading a classroom.

Positive, professional and reliable, with strong communication skills.

Passion for education and supporting young people.

Flexibility to work on a day-to-day basis across different schools.

Ability to travel to schools in the Wolverhampton and Walsall areas.

A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
