Cover Supervisors Needed – Across Staffordshire

Secondary Schools • Flexible Work Available

Location: Stafford, Rugeley, Stone, Stoke, Keele & surrounding areas
Pay: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible day-to-day, short-term, and long-term roles

A Great Opportunity to Work Across Local Secondary Schools

Teaching Personnel are seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools in Staffordshire. You’ll supervise classes, deliver pre-set work, and ensure pupils stay on task in the absence of their usual teacher.

Please note: applicants must have prior experience working with young people in a school setting — applicants without this experience will not be suitable.

 

Your Role:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to secondary pupils

  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure engagement

  • Build positive relationships with staff and students

  • Support the school day-to-day with flexible cover requirements

  • Work across a range of subjects and year groups

 

We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working in a school environment (essential)

  • Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management

  • Reliable, adaptable and proactive people

  • A passion for supporting young people

  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
