Full time Cover Supervisor required for long term position starting in September 2019.

Do you have experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a different role in secondary schools? Maybe you have experience supporting young people in a similar capacity and would like to take your first steps into an exciting and rewarding career in education?

The Assistant Head would like to interview potential Cover Supervisors at the very earliest convenience, with trial days happening all of this and next week. The incoming Cover Supervisor will be joining a very welcoming and supportive department, where each individual is given every opportunity to develop and further their career. The school has a very impressive and modern main building with state of the art facilities throughout and is easily accessible by either public transport or your own car, with free on site parking provided.

• Full time position for a Cover Supervisor, starting September 2019
• Working within a modern secondary school in Heywood
• Paid up to £65 a day, dependent on experience and responsibilities
• Access to further development and training opportunities

Working alongside the relevant departments within the school you will have multiple different responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor, including:

• Covering the absence of teaching staff by delivering pre-set lesson plans
• Supporting pupils with any queries they have and offering good direction and advice
• Enforcing behaviour management, ensuring pupils are acting within the lines of the schools behaviour policy
• Monitor pupils progress and report back to teachers and pupils parents
