Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work within a secondary school in Dorchester, supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident managing a classroom, enjoys working with young people and is looking to build further experience within a secondary school environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supervising classes in the absence of the usual classroom teacher

• Delivering pre-set lessons and ensuring students remain engaged

• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment

• Managing behaviour in line with school expectations

• Supporting students with their learning

• Working alongside teaching staff and the wider school team

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working with young people or within an educational setting

• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

• A calm, approachable and professional manner

• Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions

• Reliable and adaptable approach to work

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is beneficial but not essential
