Location - Corby

Full time contract

Immediate Start

Agency - Teaching personnel.

 

Teaching personnel are working in partnership with secondary schools in Corby and surrounding areas to recruit a Cover supervisor for a full-time position with an immediate start.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education or take the next step towards a teaching career.

 

The Role

- As a Cover supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring students stay on task and follow the work set. You will maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

 

Key responsibilities

- Supervising whole classes across various subjects.

- Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain engaged.

- Managing classroom behaviour effectively.

- Supporting students with their learning where appropraite.

- Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies.

 

The ideal candidate

- Confident and professional in a classroom setting.

- Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)

- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

- Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic.

- Able to start as soon as possible.

- Have an enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service.
