Cover Supervisor

Cover supervisor required at a Secondary School in South Yorkshire immediately:

  • Full time and part time cover supervisor positions available
  • Chance to gain further experience prior to applying for teacher training
  • Previous secondary school based experience preferred but not essential with the right attitude!

Our client school located in South Yorkshire seeks to appoint a number of cover supervisors to join their cover team for the rest of the academic year. Whether you are looking for part time or full time work, this is an excellent opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features school which will stand out on your PGCE application!

As a cover supervisor you will be required to cover lessons in the absence of teachers for various reasons such as in house CPD, planned absences and short term sicknesses. You will be required to deliver pre-set work and ensure pupils learning isn't disrupted due to their teacher's absence.

Any cover supervisors or qualified teachers looking for supply work will ideally have:

  • Previous secondary school classroom based experience
  • Strong presence and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils
  • Own transport ideally

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
