- Previous experience of working as a Business Teacher/Lecture is desirable.
- Temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate
- Winchester based school with 75+% of students achieving 5+ A* to C GCSE grades
Due to staff retirements and growth in student demand in the area, we are looking to appoint both full and part time Teachers of Business to start in September. For that reason, we have some flexibility as to the hours we may be able to offer. Please indicate any preference in your application.
We are also looking for Teachers of Economics and are aware that there may be some candidates interested in teaching both. Although the two subjects are run separately, please feel free to complete just one application, making it clear if you wish to be considered for both areas.
These posts offer good opportunities for career development in large departments within a highly successful faculty.
The successful candidate(s) will be graduates of Business Studies or of a closely allied subject, familiar with contemporary issues in the teaching of Business and able to share their enthusiasm for the subject with their students. They will be effective team members, prepared to share ideas and resources, and able to use ICT in the delivery of courses.
If you are interested in applying for this role, please send your CV to katie.smith@teachingpersonnel.com or for more information, please call the Hampshire Secondary team on 023 8033 1441.
