Business/ICT Teacher

 A school in Traffordis looking for an experienced Business and ICT teacher to join the teaching staff on a temporary basis. It is expected that the required applicant will hold:

• QTS (or an equivalent qualification)
• A degree (preferably in  Business/ICT or a related subject)
• A proven track record in the delivery of both Business and ICT across KS3 and KS4.
• Experience teaching A-Level Business OR ICT is also exceptionally desirable.

As a member  of the teaching staff, it is essential that the required applicant will:

• Consider the intricacies of both subjects, and be able to finnd solutions to problems in a quick and effective manner. 
• Work as part of a team, in ensuring that lesson delivery and curriculum is adequate in meeting the needs of students.
• Provide detailed feedback related to student progress to the rest of the department teaching staff, as well as senior leaders and parents wherever necessary. 
• Hold an in-depth subject knowledge, and be able to think of alternative ways to ensure learning is reinforced across each subject. 
• Be able to work with pupils on both a group and individual basis.
• Be able to implement unique strategies, that are designed to ensure that pupils are able to remain engaged throughout the lesson.
• Successfully differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN, as well as those requiring EAL support.
• Deliver school curriculum, as well as ensure that tasks for homeowrk are relevant and beneficial to the overall progress/attainment of students. 
• Ensure that students are adhering to school policy, as well as successfully managing behaviour expectations.

Pay: GBP24,373 and GBP40,490 per year, based on previous experience.
