Newport - Biology Teacher

Teaching Personnel have been asked by one of our school to find a talented, well qualified and inspiring Science Teacher to cover a maternity post for approximately 9 months. The role starts in September at the beginning of the academic year. The Science Teacher will be able to teach Biology up to KS4 and Chemistry to KS3. The role is full time 5 days a week.

The successful Science Teacher will be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills and will be able to motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students. Pupil well being is a major focus for the school it is imperative that be a focus for the Teacher.
You will be joining a successful Science Department with specialist teachers and rooms that are well equipped.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
