Teaching Personnel are seeking a qualified Biology teacher who is confident with the theoretical and practical sides of the subject. The candidate must be available to start the role after half-term and be able to hit the ground running; making an impact within the school. The timetable will consist of teaching KS3 and GCSE so it would preferred that applicants have previous experience in a similar role as the students will be undertaking important examinations in summer. The school takes pride in their "Outstanding" status, which stems from high attainment.

Candidates will be responsible for;

• Help biology students understand the complex subject matter and answering any questions they may have
• Gathering samples and conduct experiments to give students live examples whilst teaching the curriculum
• Supervise the students laboratory work and ensure you guide them during experiments
• Classroom/behaviour management in line with the schools policies and procedures
• Follow the structured schemes of work for KS3/4
• Carrying out a range of tasks from planning lessons, classwork and assignments
• NQTs welcome
