Behaviour Teaching Assistant Leighton Buzzard

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary pupil referral unit in the Leighton Buzzard area who are currently looking for a teaching assistant on a full time basis starting ASAP.

The school is a provision which caters to pupils who have been excluded from a mainstream school environment and have been placed into an alternative provision for education.

To be able to be put forward for the role you will have experience either working in a similar setting, sports coaching, Care environment or any other environment working with children and adults with SEMH. The setting will consider candidates with a passion of wanting to work with children.

The right candidate will have a Child Workforce DBS on the Update service or are happy to apply for one.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
