Behaviour Mentor required in Leyland

Are you seeking work in a challenging educational setting?

Do you have experience working with children?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Pupil Referral Unit in Leyland who are seeking a full time member of staff to support their challenging KS3/4 pupils. The School is smaller than average and the pupils in School do display particularly challenging behaviours. The School is based near Leyland, Lancashire and the role is due to start in two weeks time until the end of the academic year at least.

The role will require you to support the pupils both academically and emotionally and to assist the Teacher with the day to day running of the class. The role will be paid in accordance to experience of the candidate and pay will range from £50-60 per day.

The candidate must have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviours, SEMH difficulties and/or ADHD. The candidate must be hard working, flexible and adaptable. The candidate must also be willing to initially work on a supply basis with a view to the position becoming permanent.
