Behaviour Teaching assistant - Hackney

We are looking to recruit a competent behaviour teaching assistant to support in a 'Good' Ofsted rated Pupil Referral Unit located in Hackney. The specialist school cater for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school, have social, emotional and behavioural needs. The school support pupils across the range of 4-19 years of age offering an education which is tailored to individual needs. We are looking for support in a KS3 group, someone who is confident, inspiring and has understanding and experience of how to motivate students who are disconnected from their education and present with complex behaviours. You will work as part of an experienced team to provide an engaging learning environment, with the aim to deliver pupil's individual learning and behaviour plans with the longer term vision of reintegration back into mainstream or further education prospects.

This post will be for the rest of the academic year on a full time basis, the school are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a behaviour, PRU setting and someone who is looking to make a commitment to their students education and school.

Behaviour teaching assistant:

• Must have previous experience working with behavioural needs
• Team Teach training is highly desired
• Abel to support secondary aged pupils
• Deliver personalised 1:1 support
• This role is for an immediate start and cannot have any holiday or appointments booked during school term time in the hours of Monday - Friday 8.30-3.30pm
