Behaviour Support Worker - Rochdale
Do you have experience of working with young people who display challenging behaviour?
Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with one of our client schools based in Rochdale who are seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to work with one of their new pupils who has recently joined. This role has an immediate start for the successful candidate, and will continue until the end of the academic year in the first instance, with a view of continuing into the new academic year on a permanent contract.
- Full time Behaviour Support Worker with an immediate start
- Role until the end of the academic year initially with the opportunity of a permanent contract
- Competitive weekly pay between £270-£350 per week
- 'Outstanding' academy in Rochdale
Our client school is located in the Hollingworth area of Rochdale, just a short drive from the M60/M62 Outer Ring Road. Since moving to their new building in 2011, the 1200+ pupils in attendance have access to state of the art facilities throughout the school which provides an excellent learning environment, inspiring pupils to perform to the best of their abilities. In their most recent inspection, Ofsted graded the school as 'Outstanding' stating "The unswerving focus of the headteacher on raising standards and ensuring that every pupil achieves as well as they can is pivotal to the school's success."
"We are looking for an inspirational and hard working Behaviour Support Worker to support one of our new students who has recently joined the school. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a collaborative and supportive department who care about students and want to ensure every student has the opportunity to shine and progress as they should." Headteacher.
As a Behaviour Support Worker at our client school you will be working with one of their new students who has recently been transferred to the school as part of a 'managed move'. The role will involve working alongside the student on a 1:1 basis, supporting them throughout the day whilst they attend their classes. The successful candidate will be a positive role model with the view of improving behaviour and raising attainment and progress.
