Are you experienced supporting pupils with challenging behaviour? Are you able to put effective strategies in place in order to avoid confrontational and disruptive behaviour?

If so a Good school located in the Farnworth area of Bolton is currently looking to employ a behaviour intervention specialist to work with small groups and pupils on a 1:1 basis developing positive behaviour strategies and carrying out a nurturing role within school.

The post is initially on a part time basis for 15 hours a week but has the potential to develop further depending on the outcomes of the interventions and could potentially develop into a role utilised across the Farnworth cluster.

A successful applicant should:

  • Have a strong background dealing with pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Possible come from a military or police background
  • Preferably team teach trained, however not essential
  • Be a good communicator and be able to work as part of a team
  • Have a good understanding of safeguard and procedures
  • Be outgoing and have a strong classroom presence
  • Be experienced working with pupils on a small group and 1:1 basis
