Are you experienced supporting pupils with challenging behaviour? Are you able to put effective strategies in place in order to avoid confrontational and disruptive behaviour?

If so a Good school located in the Little Lever area of Bolton is currently looking to employ a behaviour intervention specialist to work with small groups and pupils on a 1:1 basis developing positive behaviour strategies and carrying out a nurturing role within school. The role is looking to start from September and possibly earlier for the right applicant.

In order to be successful you will need to:

  • Have a strong background dealing with pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Possible come from a military or police background
  • Preferably team teach trained, however not essential
  • Be a good communicator and be able to work as part of a team
  • Have a good understanding of safeguard and procedures
  • Be outgoing and have a strong classroom presence
  • Be experienced working with pupils on a small group and 1:1 basis
  • Have school based experience and be able to implement a range of behaviour interventions.

The school is located in the BL2 area of Bolton and has previously been graded as Good by Ofsted. The school prides itself on how it aims to support both staff and pupils, in order to create an inclusive environment where everyone is able to succeed in what they do.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
