Teaching Personnel, the market leader of education recruitment, are working with one of our client secondary schools in Rochdale, to recruit an experienced Behaviour Support Worker. Due to the growing needs of the support staff, this role will start in February 2019.
Working as a Behaviour Support Worker in our client school, you can expect:
- Full time post until at least July, with a view to a permanent position
- Earn between £300 and £325 per week, dependant on qualifications and experience
- Paid weekly in arrears
Our client school was opened in 2010 when two local secondary schools merged, moving to a new state-of-the-art building. The school has good transport links, with it being close to the M60 motorway and also has good public transport access.
Working at our client school as a Behaviour Support Worker, you will be expected to:
- Have a positive influence on a range of students that you will be supporting
- Help students to fulfil their potential
- Have several key competencies including patience and resilience
Although experience in this role isn't essential, it would be beneficial. If you have experience in youth and support work, you may have many transferable skills for this role.
