Job description

A Head teacher of a GOOD Graded School in the Wakefield (WF5) area is looking for an experienced confident Behavior Support Teaching Assistant. This position is to start as soon as the children return to School (To be Confirmed) – with genuine scope for a permanent contract thereafter.

Working with both KS1 and KS2, providing 1:1 and group support for pupils who are showcasing challenging behavior the ideal candidate will be inspiring and motivating pupils to re-focus on their core objectives.

This role is full-time and will be due to start as soon as the children return to school. However, as this information is yet to be released the school could accommodate for a September 2020 start. This is a long-term / permanent position.

What is required for this role?

  • Qualified Behavior Support Teaching Assistant
  • You will ideally have a Degree from a reputable University
  • Must be caring, supportive and dependable
  • Be able to support pupils on a 1:1 and group basis
  • Valid DBS is desirable
  • Have at least two education-based references from your most recent employer(s) which are GOOD or OUTSTANDING.
