Teaching Assistants & Cover Supervisors – Step Into the Classroom With Confidence ✨

Locations: Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil & Caerphilly
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time (until the end of the academic year)
Pay:

  • Teaching Assistants: £89.38 per day
  • Cover Supervisors: £110–£125 per day (experience dependent)
    Start: ASAP

Roles Available

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with classwork and activities
  • Working 1:1 or with small groups
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery
  • Supporting SEN, behaviour or additional learning needs
  • Helping create a positive, engaging learning environment

Cover Supervisor Responsibilities

(Training provided if progressing from TA role)

  • Leading full classes during teacher absence
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons confidently
  • Managing behaviour using school systems
  • Keeping pupils focused, engaged and on-task
  • Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
