Cover Supervisor – Step Into the Classroom & Start Your Education Career (Training Provided!)

Rhondda Cynon Taff, Merthyr & Caerphilly
Full-Time / Part-Time — Until the end of the academic year
£110–£125 per day (experience dependent)

Whether you're a recent graduate, exploring a career change, or curious about teaching, we’ll train you to become a confident Cover Supervisor.

You’ll receive structured guidance, practical support, and access to training that helps you quickly feel comfortable leading a classroom — even if this is your first time in a school.

This role gives you real classroom leadership experience across Primary, Secondary, and SEN settings, helping you build a strong CV and a solid pathway into education or teacher training.

The Schools You’ll Support

You’ll work in friendly, community-focused schools across RCT, Merthyr, and Caerphilly. These are settings where Cover Supervisors are valued and supported, with clear behaviour policies and welcoming staff teams.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading classes when teachers are absent
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons with confidence
  • Keeping students engaged and on task
  • Managing behaviour using school systems
  • Supporting learning through clear instructions
  • Adapting to different subjects and age groups
  • Providing brief handover notes for teaching staff

You Don’t Need Prior School Experience — But You Might Have…
