Job description

Do you have experience supporting children with SEN and/or behaviour needs?

Do you have a good sense of humour?

Teaching Personnel are working with SEN and mainstream schools in the Poole area, seeking Teaching Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis to support behaviour needs.

We have both full and part time roles available within both the primary and secondary age range.

Although this is a school based role, experience in the following areas are desirable:

  • Youth Work
  • Sports Coach
  • Army / Military
  • Police

Working on a 1:1 basis will involve working alongside a pupil both inside and outside of the classroom. You will need to support the pupil in their learning and encourage them to do their work. Having a good sense of humour and being confident would work well in this role.

The exact hours can vary as the schools we work with have slightly different hours, but would usually be between 8.30am-4pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
